Why is the Risk edit screen showing errors when I try to save?

If you see errors on the Risk edit screen when trying to save, you are most likely not using the Ketryx default screen or workflow (or both) for Risks in Jira.

If you are not using the Ketryx default workflow for Risks in Jira, that is totally fine. You should set the Allow item transition setting to "No" in any projects where you are not using the default workflow, or at the organization level if no projects are using the default workflow.

If you are not using the Ketryx default screen for Risks in Jira, the error message will indicate that the record was saved but not pushed back to Jira. It will note which field it expected on the Jira screen but didn't find. In this case, you can either add the missing field to your Jira screen if you would like to keep it, or you can remove the field from the Ketryx Risk item scheme if you do not.

For the latter, you can use the Item fields setting at the organization level. Note: This is an organization-level change, and therefore the field will be removed from the Ketryx Risk item scheme for every project in the instance. The field will not appear on any item records, and will not appear on the edit screen. Where this field is already filled on controlled items, removing the field will invalidate the approval of those items unless the Uncontrolled field names setting is used.
