How can I lock multiple records at once?

Note: Record locks (associating a record with a version explicitly) will take precedence over item exclusion. That is, if I lock a specific record against an unreleased version and then exclude the item for that record, it will still appear in that version. If you would like that record to not appear in the version, simply unlock it. Released versions take a snapshot of records at the time of version approval, so excluding items will never affect the records they contain.

  1. Check the box next to the items you want to lock.

  1. Click on the three-dot menu

  2. Select “Lock selected records for this release baseline”.

  1. Confirm that these are indeed the items you intend to lock based on the selected version.

  2. Click “Lock”.

  3. Confirm the action using your security key.

  1. You should now see a lock icon next to each item that has been successfully locked.

Note: You can unlock the items in the same way by selecting “Unlock selected records for this release baseline” from the three-dot menu.
