The limitation of Ketryx's Edit form rich-text fields are noted below.
Ketryx's rich-text fields support:
- Bold: Command+B (for Mac) or Ctrl+B (for Windows), or wrap the text around double asterisks "**" or double underline "__"
- Italic: Command+I (for mac) or Ctrl+I (for Windows), or wrap the text around an asterisk "*" or an underline "_"
- Inline code: Wrap the text around "`"
-
Bullet point list: Use star "*" or dash "-"
- For the next level, click Tab
-
Before saving changes (in the Edit form):
-
After saving changes (in the record detail page):
- Underline: Command+U (for Mac) or Ctrl+U (for Windows)
- Strikethrough: Wrap the text in "~"
-
Numbering: Use numbers. Note that letter numbering style is not supported (starting with "a", for example, is not supported)
- For the next level, click tab
-
Before saving changes (in the Edit form):
-
After saving changes (in the record detail page):
- Headings: Type "#" and then space bar. The number of "#" typed is the heading numbering. For instance, if you type "## H2", it is going to be Header #2. Ketryx Edit item form supports up to Heading #6. Example:
H1
H2
H3
H4
H5
H6
Ketryx's rich-text fields do not support:
Note that when a format is not supported, this pop-up will appear in the Edit form:
If you click "Edit anyways", you could still edit the text, but the formatting will not be saved/visible in the record detail page.
- Quote blocks: Commonly can be used with "> " format before the sentence/paragraph
-
Inline images: Ketryx's rich-text field currently does not support inline images
- An important note for this is that, if you try to add inline image, this pop-up will appear. If you click "Clear and edit", the entire field would be cleared.
