Ketryx is well-integrated with Xray and clients can continue to use Xray for test management. However, here is how Ketryx Test Management compares to Xray:

  1. Both Ketryx and Xray allow you to manage your release test plan by selecting which tests you wish to include or exclude for the release of a given version
  2. Both Ketryx and Xray allow you to download a copy of your Test Report, including test cases and test executions included in your test plan
  3. Ketryx provides functionality to include ‘Steps’ and ‘Expected behavior’ as a numbered list, as opposed to Xray where they’re broken down step by step
  4. Ketryx allows 1 Test Plan per version, unlike Xray, which allows multiple Test Plans per Sprint
  5. For dashboarding of results, Ketryx provides the percentage completion of test cases and executions in our Traceability view as well as our release dashboard, while Xray provides an independent test coverage gadget
  6. Ketryx does not provide a timer for test execution completion, unlike Xray’s log time feature
