Organization permissions apply across the entire Ketryx organization, while project permissions are specific to individual projects. Organization owners have broader control over organization-wide settings, while project permissions determine what actions users can perform within specific projects.

What key permissions do organization owners have?

  • Create Projects and Access to configure any project in the organization
  • Invite members and Management of organization membership
  • Creation and management of approval groups
  • Manage Connections to external services
  • Control Documents
  • Ability to view the audit log for system access
  • Management of API keys
  • Manage item-level approval rules: Determines who can configure approval rules
  • Access to advanced organizational settings

Note: As a regular member, your specific permissions depend on what the organization owners have granted to you. By default, newly invited members typically have read-only access to the organization and its projects. Organization owners can modify these permissions at both the organization and project level.
